I greatly underestimated the difficulty I would have balancing work, life at sea, visiting ports, and keeping up with this blog! Today I start a new block of travel. I am flying to Miami today, and then tomorrow I will embark on the Carnival Magic with 4 of my inner circle and three of their husbands. We are traveling to the southern Caribbean and will be visiting Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao. After that cruise, they will be returning home, while I do a side-to-side and embark on the Carnival Celebration for a 7-day cruise to the western Caribbean. After that, I will fly home for a few days, then leave again with another friend for two 7-day back to back cruises on the Carnival Venizia, where we will visit the eastern Caribbean the first week, then the western Caribbean the second. When that is over, she will fly home, and I will be flying to Houston, where I will embark on the Carnival Dream for the last leg of this block. The Dream is headed to dry dock in Spain, so it will depart from Galveston for a one-way trip (for me) to Barcelona, Spain. Unfortunately due to work restraints, I will not be spending any time in Barcelona before I come home. However, in the fall, a friend and I will be traveling there to embark on the Carnival Freedom after she is done in dry dock and sail back to Florida.
Praying for safe travels with lots of fun, memories, and adventure!
